AIR Trainee Members Profile and Facts

AIR Trainee (에어 트레이니), formerly known as MBK Trainee (엠비케이 연습생), is a South Korean pre-debut vocal boy group under AIR GLOBAL CASTLE (formerly MBK Company/Modern Berry Korea). The group was first introduced in July 2025 under the name MBK Trainee, and in October 2025 the planned group name Air100 (에어헌드레드) was revealed, with their debut scheduled for the first half of 2026. However, on February 3, 2026, it was reported that their debut had been postponed due to internal management changes within the agency and a decision to continue additional training to strengthen the group. On May 1, 2026, the group was officially renamed to AIR Trainee following the company’s rebranding. Since then, they have continued activities under this name, with Air100 remaining as the previously announced debut name. The only currently revealed member is Lim Hyunwoo. They released their first digital trainee single “INTO STARLIGHT” on August 27, 2026. The group is expected to debut sometime in 2027.

Group Name Meaning (Air100): It combines “Air” and “100 (perfection),” carrying the meaning of “a team that fills the world with 100% pure energy”.
